Scenery                           Oahu Coastline                CruiseShip Seal       CruiseShipDiner

The last time I was in Hawaii, I sailed on NCL's Pride of America, which is registered in USA and has US employees.  It is truly a beautiful ship with decorations of the USA everywhere.  It has a Great Seal of the United States  in floor.

Beauty is all around you in Hawaii!!!   I love looking @ Diamond Head, the gorgeous beaches, the beautiful plants (especially the anthuriums.  It seems that everyone you go, there are such beautiful flowers! Also exotic birds.

While we were in Honolulu, we especially wanted to visit the Pearl Harbor museum and the tour around the harbor,  They told us of some sailors tossing potatoes at the Japanese airplane (coming in low enough so they could see their faces) and the pilots thought they were grenades.

Maui is a wonderful place to relax and just more relaxing!  We visited the Whaler's Village and took the day-long drive to Hana!  There are place where the road is 2 lanes (and restrooms far apart) with many hairpin turns.  The scenery is beautiful but the trip is very lon - 3 hours driving each way.  Be sure to look for the Banyan trees that have roots that drop down from the limbs and go into the ground.  The largest one is in Lahaina, Maui

Kaui, the "Garden Isle" is truly one of beauty.  There are gorgeous waterfalls, birds, and flowers again.  Some others (not me) were bicycling and dirt bikes.  On our road excursion, we saw the DEA helicopter exploring the area for signs of illegal activity.
